▲Maldives signed a mutual visa exemption agreement with China in January 2022. According to National Immigration Administration, the following countries have signed a mutual visa exemption with China. Chinese citizens who hold a valid passport do not need to apply for a visa for short term visits to these countries.*1 The relevant agreement between China and the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia currently applies.
*2 The relevant agreement between China and the former Czechoslovak Republic currently applies.*3 The Agreement between China and the European Union on Mutual Exemption for Short-term Stay Visas on Diplomatic Passport Holders applies.NBB: Visa-free entry does not mean that one can stay or reside in the country indefinitely.
